Social Media Plug-ins

On our website we use social plug-ins from the social networks Facebook and Instagram on the basis of art. 6 par. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

to make our law firm better known. The underlying advertising purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the DSGVO. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation must be guaranteed by the respective provider. The integration of these plug-ins by us takes place in the way of the so-called two-click method around visitors of our web page in the best possible way to protect.

Facebook

Our website uses social media plugins from Facebook (Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland) to personalise their usage. For this purpose we use the "LIKE" or "SHARE"-button. This is an offer from Facebook.

When you visit a page of our website that includes a plugin of this type, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser and integrated into the website.

By including the plugins, Facebook receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you don't have a Facebook account or are not currently logged on to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our website with your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and saved there. The information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends.

Facebook can use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research and demand-oriented design of Facebook pages. To this end, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your usage of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide other services associated with the use of Facebook.

If you do not wish Facebook to match the information collected through our website with your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the data protection information (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/) of Facebook.

Instagram
Our website also uses so-called Social Plugins ("Plugins") from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Instagram").

The plug-ins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an "Instagram camera".

When you visit a page of our website that includes such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Instagram's servers. Instagram transfers the content of the plugin directly to your browser and integrates it into the page. This integration informs Instagram that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged in to Instagram.

This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to an Instagram server in the USA and is saved there. If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can immediately associate your visit to our website with your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the "Instagram" button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there.

The information is also published on your Instagram account and displayed to your contacts.

If you don't wish Instagram to associate the information collected through our website directly with your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website.

Please refer to Instagram's privacy policy (https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388) for more information.

Google AdWords and Remarketing with Adwords

We place Google Adwords ads and use Google Remarketing. It is a service of Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter "Google") This service serves to draw attention to our company and its offers. Searches include ads related to our services or offers on websites across the Google advertising network. It is possible for us to combine ads with keywords or to use individual ads to advertise products and services that you have viewed on our site. We can generally optimize search ad campaigns by using AdWords remarketing lists after you have visited our site. Google uses cookies placed when you click on ads or visit our website to analyse your usage patterns for such interest-based advertising. In such cases, we and Google receive information that you clicked on an ad and were forwarded to us. Google hereby creates statistics for us that include the number of users who clicked on one of our ads. These also allow statements to be made about which of our pages you have been forwarded to. If you have already been to our website, this enables us to address you more specifically in advertising.

You will also find further and more detailed information on this in the notes on website statistics and in Google's data protection regulations. The information is only used for statistical analyses for ad optimization. For example, we can use it to find out which search terms were clicked on particularly often and which ads lead, for example, to the acceptance of offers from our company. However, personal identification is not possible and not intended for us.

You can disable this service by disabling cookies through your browser settings, deselecting individual types of ads in Google's ad settings, disabling interest-based ads on Google, or disabling cookies from advertisers using the Network Advertising Initiative's disabling tool. We and Google then only get the statistical information about how many users have visited a page and when. The latter can only be prevented by appropriate browser extensions.

Contact Form

If you have any questions or other concerns, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using a form provided on the website. A valid e-mail address is required so that we know who sent the request and can respond to it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO on the basis of your voluntary consent, which you expressly give us by activating a check mark before passing on the data via the contact form.

You can revoke your consent at any time by e-mail to info@horstmann-sander.de or in writing to the Horstmann+Sander GmbH & CoKG, keyword data protection, address (please enter your e-mail address and the name under which you are registered).

The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your request has been processed.

Data integrity

We use the TLS (Transport Layer Security) procedure - also known in the previous version as SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure - in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser when visiting our website. Whether a single page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form is indicated by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We or our service provider, com&on GmbH, use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Data transmitted unencrypted over the Internet may be viewed by third parties. We therefore point out that no secure transmission of data over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) is guaranteed. Personal data that allow a conclusion to an individual person should therefore either not be transmitted at all or only via a secure connection (TLS - see above). If you are requested to enter data about yourself when accessing pages and files, this data transfer via the Internet may be unsecured and the data may therefore be noted or falsified by unauthorised persons.
